FAQs

  1. Do I need to press super firm tofu? Since super-firm tofu has minimal water content, there is no need to press it. Super firm tofu can be dried quickly by patting it dry.
  2. How can I make super firm tofu more flavorful? If you want extra flavor, marinate the tofu in the sauce overnight. The recipe is meant to be a quick meal, but it would benefit from marinating.
  3. What if I don’t have an air fryer? The tofu can be baked in the oven at 400F for 20 minutes. Brush on the sauce towards the end and bake for another 5 minutes.
  4. What to serve this with? This is best served over rice or noodles and with a side of vegetables like bok choy or broccoli.
  5. How do you store leftovers? Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days.
