Here’s my quick 2-minute vegan ‘fish’ sauce recipe full of salty, savory, and umami flavor. This is a delicious sauce that is perfect to serve with salads, spring rolls, noodles, and rice dishes.
Vegan 'Fish' Sauce
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 4 tbsp hot water
- 2 tbsp white distilled vinegar
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Juice of 1 lime
- 4 Bird eye chili pepper, roughly chopped
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- Step 1 Prep the bird eye chili pepper and garlic. In a clean jar, combine the sugar, hot water, vinegar, soy sauce, lime, chili pepper, and garlic. Mix everything well and enjoy! Store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to one week.
